Terms & Conditions of Sale


These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made from Renovation Warehouse. By purchasing goods from Renovation Warehouse, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

WARRANTY POLICY

• The Buyer must inspect their item immediately upon receipt and report any damage or faults to the Seller via email within 48 hours of receiving the item. Please specify the item title and invoice number. We reserve the right to refuse any claims made after this timeframe.
• The Buyer is responsible for the cost and arrangement of returning any faulty item to Renovation Warehouse.
• We do not accept returns sent by COD (Cash on Delivery). Return freight costs must be paid entirely by the Buyer. The Buyer must contact Renovation Warehouse for approval before returning any item. Refunds will only be offered where a replacement is not available.
• All warranty claims must be made by the original purchaser of the item. Warranty is not transferable beyond the original Buyer.
• Your invoice and Buyer details will be required as proof of purchase.
• Renovation Warehouse adheres to the Consumer Guarantees Act and the Fair Trading Act.

WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

• Normal wear and tear.
• Damage caused by using goods for a purpose for which they were not designed.
• Damage incurred during freight.

REPLACEMENT POLICY

• Buyers must inspect items immediately upon receipt and report any faults or damage to Renovation Warehouse via email within 48 hours of receiving the goods. We reserve the right to refuse claims made after this timeframe.
• Photographs may be requested as proof of damage.
• The Buyer is responsible for the freight costs associated with returning faulty or damaged products for warranty assessment or exchange.
• Renovation Warehouse is responsible for the cost of sending replacement warranty items back to the Buyer, except where the returned item is inspected and found to be undamaged or not in the condition reported by the Buyer. In such cases, the Buyer will be required to pay all return freight costs, and the item will be returned at the Buyer's expense.
• Products must be returned with all accessories, including original packaging materials, cartons, and boxes.
• Renovation Warehouse must receive all returns within 14 days of accepted delivery. If an item is returned after this period, we reserve the right to refuse the claim. All returns must be approved and authorised by the Seller before any return is arranged.

REFUND POLICY

• Refunds will not be offered after an item has been used. Second-hand goods are sold in an "as is" condition and are described as accurately as possible.
• Original postage and freight charges are non-refundable.
• All items must be returned to us for full assessment before a refund can be issued.
• Refunds are processed by Renovation Warehouse only after the returned goods have been fully inspected and the Buyer has been advised of the outcome via email.
• Returns requested due to a change of mind or incorrect product selection are at our discretion and will incur a 15% deduction.

SHIPPING

• Please check with your local freight carriers to obtain the best shipping rates. We recommend contacting Toll Group (0800 865 569) or Mainfreight (09 470 1080).
• We can provide freight quotations in certain circumstances. Please contact us directly to see if we can assist.
• Goods will be prepared for collection and/or freight once payment has been received and an invoice has been issued. We have a forklift available to load goods onto the carrier of your choice.
• Item(s) will not be shipped or released until payment has been received in full and cleared. We will supply an invoice number for collection or freight purposes.
• Items are generally dispatched within 48 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays) of cleared payment. Dispatch times may be longer during busy periods.
• Collection is available from our store at 28 Kioreroa Road, Whangārei.
• Renovation Warehouse is not responsible for transit times or for any damage sustained during freight.

STOCK AVAILABILITY

• While every effort is made to maintain accurate stock levels, some products may become unavailable without notice. Renovation Warehouse reserves the right to cancel or refund orders where stock is unavailable.

PRIVACY

Your personal information will not be passed on to any third party, and we take all reasonable steps to keep your information secure, private, and confidential.

As part of our customer loyalty programme, we may retain your email address to follow up on customer satisfaction and to learn how we can improve your shopping experience with us.

PAYMENT & HOLDS POLICY

• If goods are not paid for within three days, Renovation Warehouse reserves the right to return the goods to stock, and you may be prevented from making future purchases through our online store.
• Once goods have been paid for, Renovation Warehouse will hold them in storage for a period of up to one month only.
• Goods may be held for longer periods only in special circumstances and by prior arrangement with management.
